Beautiful Gifts From A Blogging Friend

Happy Friday, friends!
Ah, I'm so glad it's Friday. . .I am looking forward to relaxing tomorrow.
The house is clean, the laundry is done, the garden is watered,
the ironing is. . . .well, you don't need to know every detail, right? haha
Anyway, I just got a new book to review (YAY)
so I am sure I will get lost in the writing of Allison Pittman over the weekend
and I am looking forward to sharing the book with all of you later next week.

What are your plans for the weekend?

I wanted to share with you some lovely gifts I received from the sweet Jan
who blogs over at The Comforts of a Safe Place

Jan had a giveaway. . .actually she had more than one giveaway (more like twelve)
in honor of publishing 400 posts on her blog.
She blessed me as well as many other blogging ladies with her beautiful handmade jewelry.
When I got her package today I know my mouth fell open in awe of her creations-
they are simply stunning and VERY well-made.

I am honored to receive such pretty jewelry
and I know I will love wearing each piece.
In fact, I am already wearing the chandelier earrings :)

I hope you stop by Jan's blog for a visit - she truly is a charming lady
with a very big heart.
Thank you, dear Jan, for the incredible gifts!

Happy weekend, my friends!

What a thoughtful and beautiful gift you received, Stephanie! What fun it is to be a part of a giveaway. I will have to check out her blog.

My weekend plans, are busy! Busy as a beaver. :) For our home school group we do a survival club for the fathers and sons. And tomorrow is the day for that! So, I'll have to make a snack to share (probably brownies or something quick and easy to whip up in the morning) Then we might go to the Spirit Fest downtown. And there is always yard work to do. Ha! Ha!

With Roxy out of town, we are keeping up with her chores... so there is never a down moment it seems. I will be so happy when she comes home! :)

Other than that, all is well!

Enjoy your new book.

I'll check in again soon...
I promise!

Hugs,
Amy

Awww...gee Stephanie...thank you for all the kind and generous words about my jewelry and me. I love creating and jewelry designing is just one avenue for it. With your coloring, I think you won just the right jewelry. {BTW, there were 12 Give-Aways! LOL!}

Have fun reviewing your book and have a Blessed Weekend!

Wow, what beautiful pieces of handmade jewelry! I know that they will look stunning on you.

It's a blessing to have all of the house chores done. I'm in the process of cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. But also this weekend is being spent editing wedding photos. I was able to shoot two weddings this month. :-)

Stephanie,
These are such pretty gifts from Jan. I love the dangling earrings and bracelet. I actually won one of her giveaways and it was a sweet pink necklace. Everything she makes is good quality, and she has very good taste.

ok, I also wanted to ask you about that plate that you have on here - it's gorgeous! I think it's the prettiest plate I've seen. Wherever did you find that?

Have a peaceful weekend, dear Stephanie reading your book and doing all the things you love.
